Blanket Appeal
Help Us Keep Older People Warm This Winter
Every day, older people are discharged from hospital wearing clothing that’s not suitable for the cold weather—sometimes just their nightwear, without a coat to keep them warm.
At SCCCC, we make sure they’re covered for the journey home by providing a blanket. But after a long hospital stay, their home may also be cold, so we leave the blanket with them to keep.
That’s why we need your help.
We’re asking for donations of new blankets so we can ensure every older person discharged from hospital has the warmth and comfort they deserve.
