Why Volunteer?
Volunteering can be rewarding, fulfilling and on a personal level, can build confidence and enhance social skills. We offer ongoing training and support and the chance to meet other like minded individuals who care about older people in the community who may be at risk of social isolation.
For those looking for employment, volunteering is encouraged as it is an opportunity to update a CV, to gain valuable work references and to be in the midst of a busy work environment.
Volunteers can build on existing skills and experience while gaining new skills to help with life and work, all while providing a valuable service to our older people in Sheffield.
