St Luke’s Transport Project

Charity partnerships are so important; we all need to work together to support our local communities. That’s why we’ve joined forces with St Luke’s Hospice. The St Luke’s transport project helps provide transport for patients attending clinical appointments and social prescribing sessions at their sites.

This fully accessible minibus is already proving a success, offering a door-to-door transport option that makes it easier for people to access St Luke’s care, enjoy day trips, and reduce reliance on NHS transport or taxis, while also speeding up admissions and discharges for the hospice.

Crucially, it removes transport as a barrier for people across Sheffield who would otherwise struggle to attend, allowing the charity to reach further into the city for those who need support – making care accessible for all.
