Holding fundraising events can be a lot of fun, without them taking over your life!
From hosting afternoon tea for a few friends to getting your neighbours involved in organising a street party, SCCCC is here to support you all the way. We welcome all ideas that will raise money to help us to support older people in Sheffield and Doncaster and can provide fundraising materials to help you.

Every single penny you donate to SCCCC will help to prevent loneliness and isolation amongst older people in our community, whether it’s £1 or £1,000. What’s more, our Community Fundraiser, Kimberley France is always on hand to provide support and advice for fundraising with SCCCC.

Host an SCCCC Tea
Conversation and human connection make us feel better, lift our spirits, and recharge our batteries. We understand the difference a cuppa and a chat can make to the life of an isolated older person, so what better way to start fundraising with SCCCC than hosting a tea party? Add cake into the mix and its win, win! After all, CAKE IS THE ANSWER, NO MATTER WHAT THE QUESTION IS.
An SCCCC Tea is about having a lovely time with family and friends. It doesn’t matter whether your cakes are homemade or shop-bought treats! It’s amazing what can happen when people come together for a cuppa! It’s also about raising money for SCCCC, so we can continue to improve the lives of older people, their carers’, and their families by offering practical help when they need it most.

Join our 100 Club
Why not join our 100 club? A fundraising idea that could benefit you, too! It is such a simple idea!
- Sign up to donate £12 per year, (that’s just £1 per calendar month)
- You receive a unique membership number
- All membership numbers are entered into a monthly prize draw (the prize fund is 40% of the monthly amount raised)

Emergency Food Parcels
Vulnerable, older people who live on their own may not have access to food when they are discharged from hospital.
So SCCCC provides emergency food parcels packed with essential items that are both quick and easy to prepare, meaning a hot meal and light snacks are readily available.
Although we run a ‘12 Days of Christmas Campaign’, every December, requesting donations of essential food items, this supply soon runs out.
We are therefore asking for donations of specific items throughout the year, and have put together this Shopping List to help you.
Fundraising with SCCCC at work
SCCCC couldn’t do what we do without the generous support of people in businesses and organisations in Sheffield and Doncaster. Businesses are seeing the benefits of getting involved with their local community.
By bringing your team together in raising money through fundraising events, you:

- Fulfil Corporate and Social Responsibility (CSR) objectives
- Increase community awareness of your brand
There are lots of ways your company and colleagues can fundraise for SCCCC, and we will provide you with whatever support you need. Whether a bake sale, a bake-off, a quiz night, or a sponsored event, it is an effective way to raise vital funds to help SCCCC to provide companionship for older people in Sheffield and Doncaster.
