Pie n Pea Cruise Quiz - This annual event took place in July 2018. We had 10 teams of four who enjoyed award winning pie n peas whilst cruising the Sheffield canal. This was followed by a quiz with questions about Sheffield, pop and general knowledge. The winners were Plan B, who won a brewery tour around Thornbridge. The event raised £513 for the charity.
Gin 'N' Jazz evening - In May we held an exclusive evening of Gin Tasting and Jazz. Hosted by The Gin Bar @ Vintedge, we enjoyed a Ginsecco on arrival followed by 5 different types of local gins. Ben Schulze from Martin Millers Gin taught us how best to serve them and about their origins in the coolest surroundings in Sheffield. We were delighted to have the company of jazz vocalist Aaron Casserly Stewart (former singer with three time Grammy Award winning The Sounds of Blackness) Paradise Hill Productions Jazz pianist Ryan Taylor and Sax player Samantha Jade who donated their time to support our charity. We raised £355 for the charity.
