Donate in Celebration

Asking for donations instead of gifts on special occasions in your life is a fantastic and inspiring way for family and friends to mark your special occasion  and to raise funds for our work with older people in Sheffield.

Giving through a celebration such as a wedding or civil partnership is becoming a very popular way for couples to donate to their favourite charity, especially if you feel you have everything you need for married life already.

You could mark your big day with a gift to charity and rather than buying you presents, your guests can be given the opportunity to donate rather than buying a gift. Hand out our Gift Aid envelopes to those making a donation so that we can also claim gift aid.

Why not set up a donation online page, an easy way for guests to donate.

If you have a birthday, anniversary or christening coming up then why not share it with us and contact our team to help make your day even more memorable.

We can provide you with gift aid envelopes, collection boxes to collect your donations along with information leaflets about the charity’s work to help our message reach more people. If you would like to know more or order any of the materials above please contact Ericka Hill on 0114 250 5293 or email ericka.hill@scccc.co.uk

If you would like to make a donation by post, please make cheques payable to Sheffield Churches Council for Community Care and remember to include a covering letter containing your name and address, the name of the person celebrating and a completed  Gift Aid Form (if applicable).

Please address your envelope to:

SCCCC,  Unit 19 President Buildings,  Savile Street East,  Sheffield S4 7UQ

A month after your Celebration date, we'll get in touch to let you know how much you raised. We also thank every person who has made a donation.
